Authorized Loitering is a game run by One Man's Junk Games. By registering you agree to what is on this page. It is written to be read.
The game
- It is free. Nothing in it is for sale, and nothing you earn in it has any value in money.
- It is a game about a Bureau. The Bureau is not real, issues nothing official, and its certificates certify nothing.
- It is a beta. It is open by invitation while it is finished. Rooms, certificates and rules may change, be renamed or be taken away, and the game may be unavailable without notice. The intention is that certificates you earn are kept, but during the beta that is not promised.
Your account
- You must be 13 or older.
- One account for each person, and one person for each account. Keep your password to yourself.
- You can ask for your account to be deleted at any time. The privacy policy says how.
What is asked of you
- Play it yourself. No scripts, bots or other machinery to play for you or to press things faster than a person would.
- Keep your alias decent. No slurs, no harassment, nobody else's name, nothing you would not want read aloud in a waiting room.
- Do not try to break it for others: no probing for other people's accounts, no flooding, no interfering with the server.
- If you find a way to do something you plainly should not be able to, tell the Bureau rather than using it.
What staff may do
Staff may reset an alias, remove what an account has left in the building, leave an account off the public boards, suspend an account or delete it, where these terms are broken or the game needs protecting. Staff may also correct a mistake of the game's own, such as a certificate issued in error. What staff do is written down.
What is yours and what is not
The game, its writing and its drawings belong to One Man's Junk Games. Your alias is yours. You may share your certificates and screenshots of the game freely.
No promises
The game is provided as it is. One Man's Junk Games does not promise that it will be available, free of faults, or kept running, and to the extent the law allows is not liable for loss arising from its use. Nothing here takes away rights the law gives you that cannot be signed away.
Which law applies
One Man's Junk Games is in the State of New York, in the United States, and these terms are governed by the laws of New York. If you live somewhere whose law gives you rights as a consumer that cannot be set aside, you keep them.
Changes
These terms may change. When they do, the date at the top changes, and continuing to play means you accept them as changed.
