The rules
The Bureau says
Applicants are asked to loiter in person, decently, and on one file each. The Bureau has few rules. It has a great many forms.
In plain language
The rules are short. They are the terms you agreed to when you took a number, in brief:
- Play it yourself. No scripts, bots, auto-clickers or other machinery to play for you, or to press things faster than a person would. The building is to be loitered in by a person.
- Keep your alias decent. No slurs, no harassment, nobody else's name, and nothing you would not want read aloud in a waiting room.
- One account for each person. Keeping more than one file to get ahead in the queue is not allowed. Keep your password to yourself.
- Report bugs; do not use them. If you find a way to do something you plainly should not be able to, tell the Bureau rather than working it.
- Do not try to break it for others. No probing for other people's accounts, no flooding, no interfering with the server.
There is a minimum age to register, given in the terms. The full terms and the privacy policy are linked at the foot of the front page, and are written to be read.
The Bureau's Discord server has its own rules, posted there.
If somebody else is breaking these, see Reporting somebody.
