Your first ten minutes
On filing, the Applicant is issued a number and a Matter and shown to General Waiting. Guidance is provided once. After that the Applicant waits unassisted.
Taking a number asks for an email address and a password. You are issued an applicant number, which is how the Bureau and everybody else will know you, and a Matter, which is your business with the Bureau.
You start in General Waiting, on the Lobby. The first time, a notice of arrival is laid over the room. Read it and put it away. You can read it again from Your File.
Then:
- Tap something. Everything you can touch is outlined until you do.
- Press and hold something. That is a different act.
- Read the Bureau's remark. It has one for everything you do.
- Open Inquiries, under the room. It lists the titles of certificates this room issues that you do not hold yet. The title is the clue.
Certificates arrive as slips beside the room and wait in your journal to be filed. The Now serving sign counts them. When you hold enough from the Lobby, the next door on the floor opens. At 50, the elevator will take you to another floor.
Nothing has to be done quickly. The Bureau certainly does not.
