Discord
The Bureau says
The Bureau maintains a waiting area on Discord, where Applicants may wait in one another's company. Spoilers are confined to their floors.
In plain language
The Bureau has a Discord server where players talk. The link is on Your File, on your ID card page and at the foot of the front page.
- Spoilers are kept to channels of their own, one for each floor. When you join, Discord asks whether you want to see them. Say no, and you can find everything for yourself.
- Link your Discord from Your File or your ID card. The Bureau's clerk seats you on the server named by your number, and your alias if you have one, and gives you the role of your rank, which follows you up as you are promoted. You can unlink from Your File.
- Your ID photo can be saved from your ID card page as a square picture, to use as your picture on Discord. Discord lets nobody but you change it.
- The building's news is posted on the server as it happens: world certificates issued, hearings held, a floor's first visitor and the like. With Leave no trace on, you are posted as "An Applicant".
The server has its own rules, posted there, and its own staff. Be decent, keep spoilers to their floors, and report bugs rather than use them.
